Emmanuel Macron: new president of the Republic of France
After the second round of the French presidential election 2017, candidate Emmanuel Macron (En Marche!) was ranked first in Uganda with 91.11% of votes. He finished in front of Marine Le Pen (Front National) who obtained 8.89% of votes. 145 out of 194 voters participated in the election, representing a total participation of 74.74%.
France elected Emmanuel Macron new president of the Republic of France with 66.1% of votes, Marine Le Pen obtained 33.9% of votes.
On May 14th, 2017 Emmanuel Macron was sworn in following the official declaration of the Constitution Council president, Laurent Fabius.
