Climate: the Hulot Foundation launches its campaign « My positive impact »
Nicolas Hulot, president of the Hulot foundation, has launched last Wednesday the campaign “My positive impact” fighting against climate change. The aim of this campaign? Using social networks in order to finance environmental projects.
The great innovation of the Hulot Foundation is to enable SME, collectivities and associations to put forward their projects without any limit. Innovation is highlighted in order to encourage internet users to inquire about every project and vote for their favorite one.
Indeed, at the request of the Hulot Foundation, the Havas agency imagined a campaign of citizen mobilization accessible to the internet users. The latters, invited to “like to change”, will designate five laureates among 50 projects from the 11th of March to the 19th of April, and five others among 50 other projects, from the 25th of May to the 5th of July. Each project has to match to one of those 7 themes: citizenship, energy, transport, goods and services, alimentation, land settlement and accommodation. The elected projects will win a communication campaign one million euros valuable, likely to bring the necessary notoriety to attract investors and partners, and to offer outlets.
A mobilization as approaches the COP21
As approaches the Global Climate Conference COP21, which will take place in Paris from the 30th of November to the 11th of December 2015, this initiative of the Hulot Foundation enables to sensitize the French population to environmental issues. At the end of this conference, 195 countries will have to elaborate the terms of a restrictive agreement in order to limit climate warming to less than 2°C by the end of the century.
