France supports Refugees in Uganda through its Food Aid Program

On April 8, 2019, the Embassy of France in Uganda has signed a 300 000 € financing agreement with Action Against Hunger (ACF) Uganda to support refugees at Kyangwali camp, under the French Government Food Aid program.

The twelve-month project entitled “Food Security and Diversity of Vulnerable Congolese Refugees - Kyangwali - Uganda’ aims to contribute to food security and nutritional needs coverage of Congolese refugees, particularly pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under two-years, through cash transfers and agro-ecology training.
