Greater Paris, international competition for designing innovative hubs
Greater Paris is Europe’s top economic region with a population of 12 million, six million jobs and 960,000 companies. On March 14th 2016, the French Prime Minister and the President of the Greater Paris authority launched an international competition to seek the talented people who will design the future “international hubs” and “innovative territories” of Greater Paris.
The region around Paris, also known as the Greater Paris, is Europe’s top economic region. With a population of 12 million, six million jobs and 960,000 companies, it accounts for 31% of national GDP or €612 billion. Greater Paris is also a hub for innovation attracting more than 120,000 researchers and 645,000 students.
On March 14th 2016, the French Prime Minister and the President of the Greater Paris authority announced the organization of this international competition to design future “international hubs” and “innovative territories” in Greater Paris, in particular around the major stations of the Greater Paris Express.
This competition aims to attract international talents who will make the most of their creativity and skills to develop urban projects for Greater Paris.
Participans will be given the opportunity to design entire neighbourhoods.
All kind of professional profiles are welcome to submit their applications: architects, designers, developers, promoters, investors, professionals of ecosystems, economists, ...
We are seeking for high potential people whose vision will nuture the future of Greater Paris.
For the projects to be innovative, candidate teams will enjoy a large degree of freedom with regard to programming the economic and social model of their project as well as urban and architectural forms.
