In this year, marked by the Covid-19 epidemic, the event will be unprecedented. Over 50 online events will be streaming live in five continents. In France, the event will also honour the caregivers whose role has been instrumental in the fight against COVID-19.

In Uganda, Alliance Française has been the lead organizer of Fête de la Musique. In the same spirit, this year, the Embassy of France in partnership with Alliance Française and Bonjour Kampala, will organize an online concert featuring top artistes, including Iryn Namuburu, Suzan Kerunen, Joel Sebunju and Herbert Ssensaba from Uganda, Dodiva and Cojack from DRC, and the French-Ugandan singer Sara Vauclair.
