The COP21 becomes a « Major National Cause » label for 2015
The French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has awarded the Major National Cause label for 2015 to the “Coalition 21”, a group of associations and movements of the civil society whose aim is to raise awareness about climate change.
During the closing of the 3rd environmental conference, Manuel Valls announced the attribution of this label to an organization fighting for environment with the view to arousing interest of the French people towards the 21st Conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) which will take place in Paris from the 30th November to the 11th December 2015. Indeed, the “Coalition Climat 21” was founded with the objective of promoting the COP21 among the civil society. This coalition brings together in particular Greenpeace, the Nicolas Hulot Foundation, Oxfam France, Attac and WWF. It also aims to contribute to the success of the after-COP21, whose decisions have to be effective…
This label will enable the communication campaign of the “Coalition 21” to benefit from free broadcasts on public radios and TV channels.
