Third Financing for Development conference at Addis Abeba (13-16 July 2015)
Thirteen years after the Monterrey conference, the Addis Ababa Agenda provides the necessary resources for sustainable development and takes into account its economic, social and environmental aspects. It offers an illustration of international solidarity, particularly with the least advanced countries, and establishes a renewed global partnership among all actors, offering access to a broad range of financing, both public and private, traditional and innovative.
"The Addis Abeba Action Agenda is a major step forward in building a world of prosperity and dignity for all.", Ban Ki Moon, General Secretary of the UN.
"It is now incumbent upon all of us to fully implement the Addis Ababa Action Agenda. With this outcome, we have a strong basis to build upon on our path towards historic Summits in New York in September and Paris in December.", Sam Kutesa, President of the 69th General Assembly of the UN.
