WEF Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report: France ranked 2nd
The World Economic Forum (WEF) publishes every two years a report entitled “Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report”. The 2015 edition of this report greatly evaluates France, which climbs back up to the 2nd place in the ranking of the most attractive countries in the tourism sector.
Climbing back up from the 7th to the 2nd place in the international ranking of WEF since 2013, France got back its attractiveness and competitiveness in regard to tourism. The economists of WEF have particularly hailed the good results of France regarding its cultural resources (2nd place in this criterion) and infrastructures (4th place).
WEF also reminds that 84.726 million tourists came to France in 2013 and that they spent 56.7 billion dollars, being an average of 669 dollars per foreign tourists.
